Nashua Handknits was introduced by Westminster Fibers in Fall, 2005. Created for North American retailers and knitters, Nashua Handknits focused on yarns and designs for the today’s knitter and crocheter.
Our yarns are based on natural fibers – cotton, wool, alpaca, kid mohair and silk, with select synthetic fibers added to bring out the yarn to its best results when knit and worn.
Nashua Handknits seasonal pattern collection is based on lifestyle themes – work, play, family, relax, celebrate – to live all aspects of North American life. Our designers are some of the best from the United States and Canada – favorites like Deborah Newton, Gayle Bunn, Kristin Nicholas, Kathy Zimmerman, Sandi Prosser, Robin Melanson, Cathy Payson, and more all create knitting and crochet projects to fill the needs of today’s enthusiast.
Under the direction of Creative Director, Susan Mills, known for her spot-on color sense and interesting, fun-to-knit designs, Nashua Handknits will continue to grow in the North American market – and, hopefully, the hearts of knitters all over the world. |
